Katra – Maa Vaishno Devi

The holy Cave Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi ji is located at a distance of 14 kms from the town of Katra and 50 kms from Jammu. Katra, the town at the foot of the Trikuta hills is the base camp for the Vaishno Devi shrine yatra.The temple of Vaishno Devi is dedicated to Vaishnavi, the human manifestation of Goddess Shakti. Within the temple is the deity in the form of a five and half feet tall rock with three Pindies. The holiest of the holy Pindies of “Mata Maha Kali Ji”, “Mata Maha Lakshmi, Vaishno Devi Ji” and “Mata Maha Saraswati Ji are the ultimate destination for pilgrims.

Morning start your journey on the trek to Holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Reach Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan Perform Pooja and Darshan at the Mata Vaishno Devi cave after Darshan trek back to Katra . Overnight stay at Katra .
