JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK

Situated at the foot hill of the lofty Himalayas in Nainital district of Uttarakhand the Corbett National Park is India’s first and finest National Park. Named after Jim Corbett a renowned environmentalist, author, hunter and conservator. The park inhabits a wide Varity of rare and endangered flora and fauna. Corbett is famous for its population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. The chief attractions of Corbett National Park include Corbett Museum, Garjiya Devi Temple, Corbett Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Corbett National Park remains open throughout the year for the visitors from Jhrina zone but the best time to visit Corbett is from 15th November to 15th June because during this period of time all the tourism zones of Corbett are open for visitors and one can visit the entire national park area.
